This elegant Victorian former rectory is in the delightful hamlet of Davidstow (of cheese fame), close to the north Cornwall coast. It is set in two acres of grounds with summer house, ornamental pond and ample parking.

The inside has been totally renovated and decorated in an elegant mix of Victorian and Edwardian styles. A real ‘home from home’ luxury B&B experience is offered with two cosy sitting rooms, a roaring open fire and leather sofas. A well stocked honesty bar, books, games, toys and an abundance of literature for local attractions are available.

Bedrooms, all en suite and with under floor heating, enjoy country views, and vary in size but have the same top-notch standard of accessories, linens, mattresses and fine antique furniture. Attention to detail is impeccable, as befitting Wolsey Lodge hosts with many years of extensive professional travel experience, staying in some of the world’s top hotels.

Breakfasts and tasty, inventive, home cooked evening meals are served in the orangery. Local produce is championed and includes Cornish-grown tea from the Tregothnan estate. Packed lunches are available for guests wanting to picnic in this glorious Cornish countryside.

Your B&B Hosts

Sharon and Nigel are justifiably very proud of the fabulous luxury B&B they created since buying this family home in 2008. Their caring, family business provides guests with a wonderful holiday experience. Nigel an experienced chef and Sharon share the cooking; he tends to cook savoury dishes while Sharon takes charge of the baking and delicious preserves.
