This elegant and comfortable Cornish country house stands in the rolling countryside of the Roseland peninsula. Built in 1839 this late Regency offers B&B guests a wonderful retreat in picturesque surroundings. Approach through the outstanding gardens, to the house, where Wolsey Lodges guests find ample parking and more importantly a warm welcome.
Alison with friendly Border Terrier, Tamar, greets guests and after showing them to their rooms, serves tea in the drawing room.
The three B&B guest rooms, all with their own bathrooms are comfortable, inviting and prettily decorated, with superb views over the beautiful two acre garden. This is Alison's first love and she delights in showing her Wolsey Lodge guests around. She has restored and enlarged it over the last twenty years. It contains many rare and interesting plants, a sunken, herbaceous walled garden, a potager and a wild flower meadow.
