Your B&B Hosts
A fairly recent resident of Matlock, Adrian, a registered nurse and former teacher in the NHS, has known and loved the area far longer. Enjoying the countryside is combined with a fascination for history and enthusiasm for gardening plus a keen respect for the environment. Guests are assured a warm welcome and nothing is too much trouble, from providing early breakfasts for guests who are keen walkers and travellers, to making dinner reservations for Wolsey Lodge guests at the many very popular local restaurants and hostelries.
The glorious former spa town of Matlock’s fascinating history and splendid surroundings are reason enough for fans of Wolsey Lodges B&Bs to visit. As well as outstanding natural beauty, the Peak District offers a plethora of family days out, museums, theme parks, stately homes, and even a cable car. Much beckons too for the outdoor enthusiast, including cycling, walks and village trails.
