Beacon Hall HouseBrochure Page. 45Z

Described by guests as ‘an amazing little treasure in the beautiful Kent countryside’, Beacon Hall House is a lovely 1920’s style family home luxury B&B - oozing a vintage feel. It was actually rebuilt after a WWII flying bomb destroyed the original. Just a mile outside the pretty village of Benenden, the house is approached up a gravel drive, where one can park near the magnificent cedar centrepiece. There are seven acres of mature gardens and paddock (grazing facilities are available for visiting horses and ponies, by arrangement). Guests can explore and enjoy splendid views of the beautiful Wealden scenery, plus this Wolsey Lodge luxury B&B has an outdoor heated pool and tennis court.

Inside, this stunning luxury Wolsey Lodge is beautifully renovated combining a subtle mix of antique and modern country home comforts. It is light and airy, with a guest sitting room on the ground floor where visitors can relax in comfort. Upstairs, the superbly fitted out bedrooms offer discerning B&B guests every luxury. Fluffy towelling robes and slippers, fabulously comfortable beds, fine linens, luxury toiletries, Nespresso coffee machines, homemade biscuits and fresh flowers are typical of the attention to comfort here.

Produce is key when it comes to breakfast and the relaxed evening suppers at this Wolsey Lodge luxury B&B. Eggs, fruit and vegetables are from their own pretty vegetable garden and orchard and meat, fish and honey are all very local.

Your B&B Hosts

Julie and Jonathan and their two teenage sons share their home with a menagerie of animals. Julie, now a relief matron at nearby Benenden School, has worked at a local vineyard and Pashley Manor historic house. A quantity surveyor by training, Jonathan now runs his own property taxation practice in London and the South East. This welcoming, busy family is also involved in many local sporting activities.

The Location

The Garden of England is a glorious place to spend some time. Orchards, hop fields, oast houses, vineyards, historic houses, world-famous gardens, smugglers’ haunts, castles, museums, abbeys, pretty villages with tea rooms and antique shops and so much more to explore on foot, bicycle or by car.
