The Old Vicarage luxury B&B is in the historic market town of Castle Cary but although in the centre of town and an easy walk to shops, its setting is one of utter peace and tranquillity, just one of the qualities that make this home so special.
Elegantly furnished, the large dining and drawing rooms and the stunning two storey conservatory, where B&B guests can relax, provide pleasurable views over the two acres of garden with its sweeping lawns, graceful trees and old stone walls and courtyard. The swimming pool and surrounding terrace with its vine covered pergola provide another treat for B&B guests to enjoy – what a joy at the end of a day’s sightseeing.
Each guest room has been carefully decorated and furnished with gorgeous fabrics, paintings and interesting artefacts. Beds are king size and bathrooms have both a tub and separate shower. Taking breakfast from the extensive menu - choose from full English, fish or the vegetarian option - will leave you perfectly set for the day.
