The warmest of welcomes awaits Wolsey Lodge guests arriving to stay at the Somerset luxury B&B of Westleigh Farm. Set amidst 30 acres and surrounded by Broomfield Common at the foot of the Quantock Hills in Somerset, this is truly a home from home for guests looking for a peaceful and restful luxury B&B break away from it all.

Spacious and comfortable, the farmhouse has seen much restoration since it became home to your B&B hosts Kerstin and Robert Sharpe in the late 1980s. Downstairs is a sitting room complete with deep sofas and a cosy wood burning stove as well as a snooker room complete with full size table and an atmospheric dining room where Wolsey Lodge guests can enjoy breakfast and dinner too if requested. All meals served here are a feast of local and homegrown produce and the dinner menu features treats such as home cured gravlax and rack of lamb, rosemary, bacon and port sauce – delicious!

The luxury B&B guest bedrooms have views across the fields to the common, en suites and divinely comfortable beds overlaid with fine linen. One bedroom features a balcony and stairs to the pretty garden and orchard where chickens and ducks happily wander. Dining out is another option here and there are several nearby fine restaurants that Wolsey Lodge B&B guests visiting Somerset will enjoy.

Your B&B Hosts

Kerstin is Australian and met Robert a consultant psychologist while doing her walkabout around Europe over 30 years ago. Their hobbies over the years have covered all equestrian pursuits, motor racing (following their son from track to track), music, reading, sitcom, eating and drinking.
