Set in the heart of the glorious Cotswold hills you cannot help but appreciate the seclusion of Aylworth Manor and yet you are no more than 12 miles from the bustling, interesting heart of Cheltenham and less than an hour from Stratford-upon-Avon and Oxford.
Aylworth Manor is over 500 years old and has been carefully restored over the last few years by John and Joanna Ireland who together have turned it into a most friendly, welcoming family home for their two teenage children and the many B&B guests that are lucky to discover them. Tea and homemade cakes mark your arrival before you are shown around the house and to your lovely, spacious B&B accommodation. There are two guest rooms, one with a super king size bed and the other with twin beds, each with wonderful far-reaching views over the garden, farmland, valley and Gloucestershire countryside beyond.
Outside, the gardens extend around the house where you will find spring-fed ponds, greatly enjoyed by the many ducks that call Aylworth Manor home, alongside the farm’s chickens, sheep and horses.

John and Joanna Irleland are the most caring hosts you could wish to stay with. Joanna formerly worked in the City before settling at Aylworth Manor whilst John is a dentist. As well as having a busy family life they also run the farm whilst every other spare minute is spent with their horses which they are passionate about.

Close to Stow-on-the-Wold, Sudeley Castle, Chedworth Roman Villa, Snowshill Manor, Hidcote Manor, Kiftsgate Court Gardens, amongst other attractions. Close by is Cheltenham with its music, racing and literature festivals whilst beyond is Gloucester with its historic docks and Cathedral.
