Winchfield House, luxury bed and breakfast (B&B) near Hook, has been the home of Henrietta Charrington’s family for the last five generations. This magnificent Grade II listed house, which Henrietta recently renovated, is filled throughout with family antiques and glorious paintings. The B&B guest bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and comfortable with imaginative fabrics used to stunning effect.
The house is surrounded by a large garden, swimming pool, parkland and a lake. The Dressage School operates from the 19th century stable block, and dressage classes can often be watched from the outdoor arena in the old walled garden.

Your Hosts
Henrietta recently married Andrew Wigram. They are both great fun, vivacious and sociable and thoroughly enjoy welcoming Wolsey Lodge B&B guests to their house. Both are energetic organisers and have travelled extensively around Europe and Australasia and once a year they assist teaching at an American Charity School in Cambodia, of which Henrietta is a Board Member. Andrew, who was formerly in the army and a farmer, runs a bespoke travel business around Britain. Adrian and Ramona, who come from Romania, assist Henrietta and Andrew with the Wolsey Lodge guests and are first class cooks.

Superbly located in the heart of the countryside near to the M3, there is easy access to London, Heathrow Airport, Windsor and Ascot. London is under one hour by train from Winchfield Station. Other local places of interest are West Green House (garden open and opera season July/August), The Vyne (National Trust), Stratfield Saye and the charming Georgian village of Odiham. Winchester, Salisbury and Portsmouth are all within an hour by car, as are many race courses. Winchfield House will be ideally located for visitors attending the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games, being close to Heathrow and Gatwick Airports and the various Olympic sites in and around London.
