The gardens and terrace of Ibthorpe Manor Farm overlook the paddocks whilst alongside the house are the stables from which Joanna runs her stud business. Bantams, friendly dogs, grazing sheep and of course the occasional foal, complete this perfect idyll.

Joanna works from home whilst bringing up her young family, enjoying her horses and hunting with the children in tow. Her husband Peter, who works in the City, has an equal love of horses and fishing and can arrange fishing locally for guests. Welcoming guests to their home comes very naturally to the Jensens.

This luxury bed and breakfast (B&B) is centrally located for visits to Stonehenge, Oxford, Winchester and Salisbury and moments from local sites, such as Highclere Castle, currently known as Downton Abbey. There are ample walking and cycling routes from the house; indeed, Jane Austen loved the walks around Ibthorpe as the neighbouring Ibthorpe House was home to her great friends the Lloyd Family. She is said to have based the Bennett's house in Pride & Prejudice on our almost identical houses. Excellent pubs and restaurants abound, including the Michelin Star Harrow Inn at Little Bedwyn.
