Dippersmoor Manor No. 41 (5960)
Dippersmoor Manor is a glorious mix of architectural styles encompassing medieval, Tudor and Georgian features set amid beautiful rolling countryside and offering a quite splendid luxury bed and breakfast (B&B) accommodation base for visitors to Herefordshire. Inside there are rooms featuring fine wood panelling, vaulted and beamed ceilings, inglenook fireplaces, wood burning stoves and flag-stoned floors. Outside there is a wonderful garden to enjoy with a vine and clematis covered pergola where B&B guests can dine amid the scent of roses, lavender and sweet peas and take advantage of the peaceful surroundings and views of the Black Mountains in Wales and the rolling Herefordshire countryside.

The luxury B&B accommodation bedrooms are beautifully appointed and all have en suite bathrooms offering every comfort. Guests are offered tea and delicious cakes on arrival and a fabulous full English breakfast in the morning and it would be sad if any guest missed the chance of a superb dinner or supper in this wonderful house. Wolsey Lodge B&B guests will enjoy a visit to Herefordshire and especially a chance to stay in this most marvellous house.

Your Hosts
Dippersmoor Manor is home to Amanda and Hexie Millais who have devoted 30 years to transforming their house and garden into the haven it is today and now welcoming their B&B guests. Hexie has enjoyed a varied career but now devotes himself to the house, the farm and their guests whilst Amanda, a Cordon Bleu cook, produces exquisite meals, loves gardening and also works part time for Christies in London. They both have an outstanding knowledge and love of the area and are keen to help their B&B guests enjoy a memorable stay in Herefordshire.

The Location
Situated between the beautiful Cathedral city of Hereford (one of the venues for the Three Choirs Festival and home of the Mappa Mundi), the historic market town of Ross on Wye and the lovely Welsh town of Abergavenny, Dippersmoor Manor is located in Kilpeck and this area of Herefordshire has something for everyone. The annual Hay on Wye Literary Festival is within easy reach as are the Black Mountains and it is a great area for walking, biking, canoeing, golf and fishing.

We enjoyed our stay with Amanda and Hexie, they are certainly very hospitable. We had a really delicious meal one night.
