The central entrance hall with magnificent carved oak staircase gives way to the spacious living rooms furnished with mellow antiques and warmed by log fires. The B&B accommodation bedrooms are full of character and beautifully furnished and have en suite or private bathrooms. The four poster bedroom has views across the gardens and park and the private bathroom features a large roll top bath, whilst another room boasts a large French oak marriage bed. The views from all the B&B bedrooms are wonderful, taking in 350 acres where Longhorn cattle, Swaledale sheep and competition horses now graze. Locally sourced meat and seasonal vegetables are beautifully prepared and served in either the Victorian kitchen or the more formal dining room.
