Whilst staying in the luxury bed and breakfast (B&B) accommodation of Bridge of Awe Lodge in Argyll you can utterly relax in splendid surroundings, enjoy good food and conversation and fall asleep to the sound of the turbulent River Awe. Built in the second half of the last century, this elegant and cosy riverside fishing lodge is filled with pictures, antique furniture and family memorabilia. It has been extensively altered by the present owner to provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere for B&B guests looking for quality accommodation in the Argyll area of Scotland.
Peace prevails in the drawing room, with its open fire, comfortable chairs and French windows to the garden. The dining room and conservatory also have spectacular views over the river.
The B&B guest accommodation features bedrooms that have an easy charm and are furnished with antique furniture and pictures, all have en suite bathrooms and are light and airy with Chintz curtains and fresh flowers on the dressing tables. There is a tray provided for making tea and coffee and provision for television in some rooms.

Meath. He is also a keen salmon fisherman. At dinner (served by prior arrangement), B&B guests will be treated to fish, meat and game, interesting starters and puddings and usually Stilton to finish - fine cuisine that Wolsey Lodge guests will appreciate after a day spent exploring Argyll and the surrounding countryside in this part of Scotland.

Wolsey Lodge guests may enjoy visiting the numerous west coast gardens (best in May and June), Inverarary Castle and Inverawe Smokehouse. There are ferries from Oban to Mull and the Islands, breathtaking walks, Munros to climb and golf courses within an easy drive. Fishing can be arranged on nearby lochs and rivers.
