Two decades of tender love and attention have gone into creating the beautiful gardens at Boyton Court and the warmest of welcomes to explore all it has to offer is made by your hosts Richard and Patricia. Overlooking the Weald of Kent, Boyton Court originally dates back to 1465 with Victorian additions turning it into the splendid family home it is today, sympathetically and comfortably furnished with antiques. The draw of the garden is irresistible and you’ll soon find yourself meandering through its parterre garden and exploring the series of natural spring-fed ponds before stopping a while at one of the quiet seating areas to appreciate the glorious planting around you and the sense of tranquillity it gives.

Inside the house the guest rooms are wonderfully comfortable and an array of carefully chosen toiletries is provided. A few yards from the house the stable apartment offers accommodation for a family or for guests that prefer a little more of their own space.

Breakfasts are delicious with local produce prepared by Patricia and served in the dining room overlooking the garden.

Your Bed & Breakfast Hosts

Richard has retired from book publishing and Patricia from special needs teaching and they now devote much of their time to their garden about which they are utterly passionate, opening it several times a year to the National Gardens Scheme. Warm and convivial hosts, they share their enthusiasm with guests and have a great knowledge of this area of Kent, happily guiding guests about the ‘not to be missed’ places to visit and dine.

The Location

Boyton Court is perfectly located to visit Leeds Castle, Sissinghurst, Great Dixter and many other famous gardens. Canterbury, Rochester, Romney Marshes, Tunbridge Wells and beautiful coastal areas are all within reach offering something for everyone whatever their interest and for a day trip to France, the Channel Tunnel is less than an hour away.

How to find Boyton Court Bed & Breakfast (B&B).

From M20, J8, then A20 towards Lenham for ½ mile then right at roundabout onto B2163 for 2 miles, then A274 for Sutton Valence. Turn left at King's Head, go through village leaving Chapel on right and up narrow lane for ½ mile until first cross roads. Turn right. Boyton Court is first house on left just past a renovated barn.
