Benbow
Lodge No 86
A beautiful house, a stunning location, welcoming and friendly hosts - if that is what you are looking for, then look no further. Benbow is a superb blend of carefully restored historic features and up to date unashamed luxury and, the "icing on the cake", the glorious views over the creek to the village and the quay.
This is a fabulous area for walking, boating, birdwatching and an artist's and photographer's paradise. After all the strenuous exercise you can relax in the bath and take in those views, watching boats scooting across the harbour or the sun setting over the estuary - the perfect end to the perfect day! The perfect start, however, is provided by one of the finest breakfasts, delicious compote and a choice of perfect Aga-cooked fare served with a wonderful view.
There is a delightful sitting room with inglenook fireplace and exposed beams and a lovely south-facing orangery at the rear of the house where guests are welcome to relax. The bedrooms have a wonderful contemporary feel with the finest bed linen, dressing gowns, slippers and tea and coffee making facilities, whilst the en suite bathrooms are modern and beautifully decorated with sumptuous bath towels.
Your Bed & Breakfast Hosts

They have lived a military life and entertaining comes naturally to them. Mike and Pippa share a love of many sports, and Mike has a particular passion for sailing.
