The house is Queen Anne Grade II* listed and has been carefully restored and extended to become the luxurious home of the Jensen family. Restful colours, comfortable furnishings and lovely antiques lend to the atmosphere of peace and tranquillity. Guest bedrooms are outstanding with the most comfortable beds and luxury bathrooms you could wish for – one room features a copper Jacuzzi bath and separate shower with ‘steam’ facility – what a treat.

Breakfast and dinner, should you arrange to dine in, feature local produce imaginatively cooked to perfection. The gardens and terrace overlook the paddocks whilst alongside the house are the stables from which Joanna runs her stud business. Bantams, friendly dogs, grazing sheep and of course the occasional foal, complete this perfect idyll

Your Bed & Breakfast Hosts

Joanna left her City career to bring up her young family and enjoy her horses, taking part in hunting and eventing as well as running the stud business. Her husband Peter, who still works in the City, has an equal love of horses and fishing and can arrange fishing locally for guests. Welcoming guests into their home comes very naturally to the Jensens and you are assured of a memorable stay.

The Location

Where should we start? Horse riding and riding clinics and health, fitness and well-being weekends are available at the farm itself whilst close by there is the wonder of Stonehenge and the lesser known Woodhenge, Winchester, Salisbury and Oxford and ample walking and cycling routes from the house, in the heart of 'Jane Austen' country. The many restaurants in the area include one with a Michelin star and Marco Pierre White’s Yew Tree Inn.

How to find Ibthorpe Manor Farm Bed & Breakfast (B&B).

Off A343, signposted Ibthorpe. Turn right into Horseshoe Lane. The house is set back from the road surrounded by a large beech hedge. Proceed up the lane and follow the sign for the house, through the 5 bar gate into the yard. There is always someone at the Farm or cottage to welcome you.
