Henrietta is the fifth generation of her family to live at Grade ll listed Winchfield House and the major renovation project she has recently overseen has resulted in a magnificent home filled with family antiques, glorious paintings and beautiful fabrics used to stunning effect. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious, comfortable and beautifully finished with fine linen and sumptuous fabrics.

The house itself resides in rolling parkland with fabulous views over the surrounding countryside. There is a lake stocked with carp, a heated swimming pool with a conservatory and comfortable sun loungers. To the side of the house is an early nineteenth century stable block housing top class dressage horses and it is often possible to watch the riders performing in the arena within the old walled garden. A superb breakfast and either supper or dinner is served in the lovely dining room and you will be welcomed with tea and delicious home made cakes in the sitting room.

Your Bed & Breakfast Hosts

Henrietta is gregarious and great fun. She has travelled extensively and is on the Board of a school in Cambodia. She teaches English as a foreign language (part time) and entertains frequently with the help of a delightful Romanian couple, Adrian and Ramona who live in the house and who are both excellent cooks. Henrietta’s son and daughter are both students at University.

The Location

Superbly located with easy access to Heathrow and Windsor, only 50 minutes from the centre of London, yet in the heart of the countryside this is a perfect starting point for visiting West Green House (gardens open and opera season during August). The Vyne (National Trust) and Stratfield Saye are just 15 minutes away and the charming Georgian village of Odiham is close by.

How to find Winchfield House Bed & Breakfast (B&B).

From M3 take Junction 5. Take exit to Farnham (A287) over small roundabout and keep on same road. After 1 mile take left turn signed Winchfield. Continue for 3 miles (do not turn right for station). Pass under M3, entrance is 200 yards on right through white gateway.
