A Grade ll listed Georgian house situated within the Dartmoor National Park with stunning views over the Buckfast Valley and south Devon beyond. Anthony and Fiona have lavished great care and attention to detail to create a home that retains original period features combined with luxurious furnishings and decoration.

From the welcoming guest sitting room with its antiques and open fire to the baronial style dining room with its huge Dartmoor granite fireplace with carved coats of arms (believed to come from nearby Berry Pomeroy castle), it is clear guests are in for a real treat. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with amazing views and the bathrooms offer every comfort one could wish for.

The twelve acres of grounds include an all weather tennis court, croquet and badminton for guests entertainment and kitchen and fruit gardens that supply the kitchen. The house also benefits from its own Dartmoor spring water and Anthony and Fiona produce their own delicious apple juice from the orchards on the estate.

Anthony is a business man, keen golfer and bridge player whilst Fiona is a solicitor who enjoys theatre, music and her garden. Fiona has taken advantage of the micro climate that surrounds the estate to grow a wonderful range of exotic plants, trees and shrubs.

Just one mile from Ashburton which has a wealth of history, antique shops and fine eateries and perfect for exploring Dartmoor, South Devon, Totnes, Dartmouth, Salcombe, Kingsbridge and the Devon coastline. Go horse racing at Exeter and Newton Abbot or visit Buckfast Abbey, Dartington Hall or the Dartmoor Steam Railway to name but a few.

Turn off A38 to Ashburton. In town centre turn into North Street. Continue to fork in road, go left over bridge signed Widecombe/Buckland in the Moor. Go up hill for ⅔ mile, take first unmarked lane on right by dry stone wall. Continue for few hundred yards, house driveway is on left after farm entrance.
