Jan and Mike have created a wonderfully peaceful haven that is beautifully furnished and finished with careful attention to detail, which is reflected in the unsurpassed standard of service they offer their guests. From the first glimpse of the house from the driveway, the view of the gardens displaying a wide variety of native and sub tropical trees and shrubs, it is clear this is something special. The bedrooms and bathrooms are superbly furnished, offering televisions, DVD/CD players, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryers, and luxurious baths and showers with fine linen, towels and robes. The drawing room has comfortable furniture, a Boudoir Grand piano and French doors opening onto the glazed veranda and guests are welcome to use the billiards room with its selection of books, games and puzzles. Breakfast at Penarwyn is award winning, freshly cooked and definitely not to be missed.

Your Bed & Breakfast Hosts

Mike and Jan entered the hotel industry in the early 1990’s and have brought those years of experience to Penarwyn. Their skills in interior design and carpentry are evident throughout the house. They ‘go the extra mile’ for their guests, from arranging pick ups for guests arriving by train and helping to plan days out to recommending local restaurants for dinner – nothing is too much trouble.
