Rock House is stunning inside with beautifully proportioned rooms, decorated and furnished with fine antiques. The bedrooms and bathrooms offer lots of welcome finishing touches - TV, books and magazines, luxury toiletries and bath robes along with the finest linen and prettiest fabrics and there is a sitting room exclusively for guests to use.

From the moment her guests set foot inside Rock House when tea and cakes are served in the conservatory, Deborah ensures they will have the most enjoyable experience starting with breakfast, prepared using the finest local ingredients. Little wonder guests return time after time!

Deborah and Christopher have travelled extensively due to Christopher's military career and are a fascinating couple. They love meeting new people and welcoming back the many guests who return to stay in their beautiful home in this glorious area. Deborah is happy to suggest places to visit and make dinner reservations at restaurants in the area if guests want to venture further afield than The New Inn opposite.

The Location

Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the Vale of Taunton offering wonderful walks, forest parks, nature reserves and fabulous riding experiences. This area contains some of the most unspoilt villages in England, steeped in history and heritage and is a perfect base for visiting Dunster Castle, Wells Cathedral, Glastonbury Abbey, Cheddar Gorge, Exmoor and the North Somerset coast.

From junction 25 off M5 follow A358 Minehead Road. Turn left to Halse. Rock House is in the middle of the village, 35 yards from the New Inn pub on the right.
