Ballaminers House
Lodge No 12
This is a classic early 19th century Cornish farmhouse and retains many fine features including slate floors and wooden shutters on the ground floor and fabulous views from the bedroom windows. It is also one of the most welcoming houses you are likely to encounter. From the freshly made tea and Cornish Fairing biscuits served on arrival, the perfect night's sleep in the comfortable bedrooms at the end of a day's sightseeing, and beautiful bathrooms complete with Duchy of Cornwall toiletries, you are guaranteed a wonderful stay.
Amanda has decorated and furnished the house with a fine eye for detail and has created a beautifully restful, luxurious atmosphere enhanced by the delicious breakfasts and dinners she prepares for her guests using locally sourced ingredients.
The glorious garden filled with native Cornish plants and shrubs and scented honeysuckle and jasmine surrounds the house and there is a walled patio and a table under a chestnut tree on the lawn where guests can dine when the weather is fine if they wish.
