An oasis of civilisation amidst the stunning Exmoor National Park, this lovely Georgian style home is found at the end of a long, private drive in a uniquely spectacular setting looking straight out onto open moorland.

Guests normally enjoy tea and cake in the drawing room, whilst warming up in front of the open fire. This friendly home, beautifully furnished with family antiques, portraits and beautiful paintings, offers luxurious accommodation and guests have exclusive use of the drawing room, library and dining room.

Two impressive double rooms, both with exhilarating views, colour televisions and tea trays, have big en suite bathrooms with power showers and baths. One of the rooms has an additional single bed enabling it to be also used as a twin or family room. The other double boasts a sumptuous antique four poster. There is also a smaller en suite twin room which boasts all the same facilities except the power shower.

Picnic or stroll on the 900 acre farm with open moorland, streams and woodland, all you hear is peace and quiet or perhaps the distant laughter from guests playing croquet and tennis back at the house.

Your Bed & Breakfast Hosts

Tom and Lucy run the estate together, have a young family and spend their spare time enjoying country pursuits. Lucy, a keen gardener, is busy developing the old walled garden. Tom is a keen cook, using beef from the pedigree herd of Red Devon cattle kept at Emmett's Grange and Lucy is the pudding queen, creating some quite irresistible desserts.

The Location

Emmett's Grange is the perfect rural sanctuary, a place to get away from it all, with walking, riding, sightseeing and hunting.

How to find Emmett's Grange Bed & Breakfast (B&B).

From M5 motorway, leave at junction 27, take A361 towards South Molton. After 25 miles turn right taking A399 towards Ilfracombe. After 1 miles turn right for Simonsbath. Continue for 6 miles and the entrance to Emmett's Grange is found on the right through two white gates.
