Flindor Cottage
Lodge No 97
What makes a B&B truly outstanding and a delight to visit? We believe it is everything that’s on offer at the 16th century Flindor Cottage in the rural idyll of Framsden, home to Mark and Tanya Felton and their two young children.
Together they’ve created a luxurious suite from a small barn adjoining the main house; a perfect arrangement which offers guests secluded privacy. Furnished with country antiques with a keen eye for comfortable and thoughtful touches such as the sleigh bed covered in fine cotton sheets and the well-stocked drinks cabinet, absolutely nothing has been missed and your comfort is assured.
In winter, guests will appreciate the cosy fires in the main house whilst in the summer the garden has a sheltered terrace to relax on. Tea and scrumptious homemade cakes and biscuits greet your arrival and more homemade treats are offered at breakfast and dinner (if you decide to eat in). Altogether Flindor Cottage is simply a delight and we know you will enjoy staying here.
Your Bed & Breakfast Hosts
Given the opportunity of a complete change to their lives, Mark and Tanya have jumped at the chance and their delight in entertaining guests in their home is clear. Tanya was an air hostess and beautician before her family came along and Mark enjoyed a career in the City before setting up a charter fishing business out of Walberswick. Mark is a wine enthusiast and a wide selection is available for guests to choose from to complement the excellent home cooking provided by Tanya.
