Sedgeford Hall

Lodge No 72

In a sheltered valley set amidst 1200 acres of parkland there is a special treasure to discover at Sedgeford Hall. The house is Queen Anne period architecture at its finest, lovingly restored as a family home and now open to guests who are warmly welcomed by two generations of the Campbell family. Whilst you enjoy the tea and freshly baked cakes that reward your arrival you can start to take in the house’s very special ambience.

The bedrooms are warm, spacious and comfortable with television, DVD, bathrobes and toiletries to help make your stay here especially relaxing. There is a choice of either an imposing four poster room with private bathroom and sumptuous dressing room, which has an additional twin room making a suite, ideal for familites. The double room, decorated with warm blues and creams has an en suite shower room. Whichever room you stay in you catch glimpses of the parkland and gardens surrounding the house which will entice you to explore and discover, as well as a beautiful garden and terrace, red deer grazing and a large lake teaming with an abundance of wildlife.

Your Bed & Breakfast Hosts

Bernard and Susan Campbell, their son Charlie and daughter-in-law Holly work together to run the magnificent estate surrounding the Hall. Bernard is a retired professor of anthropology and he and Susan have previously run the house as a Wolsey Lodge. This time around they are looking forward to helping the next generation welcome guests to this much loved home.

The Location

Restaurants in this rural area are plentiful and excellent, the coast is dramatic and irresistible (don’t miss a trip to see the seals off Blakeney Point), and no trip here would be complete without a visit to Norfolk Lavender, the bird reserves, Old Hunstanton, Sandringham and historic Holkham Hall.
