Tuttington Hall
Lodge No 69
Tuttington Hall is a rather special, Grade II listed 18th century house surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens featuring interesting sculptures and beyond this the farmland that your host David's family have farmed for some 80 years.
Together David and Andra have managed to create a wonderful haven of peace and tranquillity for their guests. On arrival, home baked scones, cakes and tea are served in the spacious drawing room which is comfortably furnished with old family pieces and where a welcoming fire awaits in the colder months. A candlelit dining room or informal garden room provide the perfect backdrop to the delicious meals provided which feature their own home produced meat and champion sausages. Eggs, bread, fruit and vegetables are all either home produced or sourced locally. Fish and shellfish from the coast, with Cromer crabs a local favourite.
The bedrooms, which include a family friendly suite, each have a spacious en suite bathroom and are delightfully decorated and furnished with fine linen and towels and each room offers views across the gardens and surrounding countryside.
Your Bed & Breakfast Hosts
Andra and David lead very busy lives but despite this they are the most hospitable hosts who go out of their way to ensure their guests' needs are met. They are both enthusiastic cooks and are justifiably proud of the home produced meat and vegetables they serve.
The Location
Tuttington Hall is within easy reach of both the North Norfolk coast with its wide sandy beaches and the stunning Norfolk Broads. There are both links and inland golf courses only a short drive away. There are a number of historic houses and gardens including Blickling Hall, along with the attractive market towns of Holt and Aylsham. The ‘Fine City of Norwich' with it's magnificent Cathedral and Castle combine to make this a fascinating destination.
