Appearances can be so deceptive! What seems to be a just a quiet, residential street is actually harbouring a fabulous bed and breakfast experience. From the stylish (and original) Arts and Crafts features which have been accentuated to the barbecue area in the garden, this is a house that appeals on so many levels. The house was built c1912 and has been the family home for many years. Since Linn took over she has extended and improved it and added a full width conservatory with French doors leading out to the south facing rear garden to provide a wonderfully light and airy space where she serves breakfast.

The bedrooms are large, comfortable and tastefully decorated and the bathrooms (one private and one en suite) are spacious and beautifully finished. This house is such an oasis of peace and tranquillity, located in the Mapesbury Conservation Area, it is difficult to believe its convenient proximity to Central London. The whole house is beautifully furnished and filled with pictures depicting Linn's Canadian childhood, professional music career and Scottish heritage.

Linn offers a wonderful mix of traditional comfort, fine food and attention to her guests combined with modern necessities - TV's, DVD players and wireless internet access. This really is a gem of a house - there are so many 'finishing touches' Linn has thought about to help her guests have an unforgettable stay you really won't want to leave!

Your Bed & Breakfast Hosts

Linn was born and brought up in Canada and came here to further her musical studies. She enjoyed a successful career as a pianist and is still a chamber music coach. Her father was a master baker and Linn's breakfast speciality is bran muffins made to his special recipe. As a direct contrast Linn's son is a professional show-jumper.

The Location

Close to central London with quick and easy tube and bus links enabling access to everything the capital has to offer. The immediate area is blessed with some very good restaurants, the Tricycle Theatre and Willesden Library Cinema.

From Staples Corner (bottom of M1) take first exit off roundabout signposted Kilburn A5, turn right at Chichele Road (A407) and then left behind St Gabriels Church.

From Willesden Green Tube Station turn left and walk until you see St Gabriels church (about 10 minutes) and turn right before church.
