This distinguished house sits above a carpet of twinkling London lights overlooking the landscaped Telegraph Hill Park.
The cosy, yet spacious reception rooms, are truly welcoming and have a quiet air of elegance which flows through to beautifully decorated and furnished bedrooms and sparkling bathrooms. The Chinese Peony Room has the plushest of carpets, the biggest of beds, the crispest of linens, Chinese porcelain lamps, lacquered panels and kimonos in the wardrobe. Upstairs, the Tulip Room is decorated with tulip and flower prints and its en suite has twin wash basins. The Richmond Room has twin beds, an adjacent private bathroom, and enjoys a quite view of the garden.
The exquisite garden was laid out by Anne’s late husband, Tim who was a great gardener. It is a perfect lure for garden lovers. There are vibrant camellias, two majestic, fully grown magnolias, a catalpa, holly and bay trees.
Your Bed & Breakfast Hosts
Anne is Chinese, born and brought up in Kuching in Borneo and has lived in London for many years. She has worked in broadcasting, travel, fashion and the Confederation of British Industry. She learnt to cook at the Cordon Bleu Cookery School in London. Chinese cuisine is also on offer. Anne dines with the guests and a dinner party atmosphere prevails here. She loves entertaining and is passionate about food, wine, museums, opera, foreign travel, gardens and a good game of bridge.
The Location
Unrestricted car parking make it easy to come and go as you wish, although the nearest mainline and underground station, New Cross Gate, will get you to London Bridge Station in just 5 minutes. Greenwich, The Cutty Sark, The National Maritime Museum, Dulwich Picture Gallery, Horniman Museum and The Tate Modern are places of interest nearby. The City Airport, favoured by business guests is only half an hour away by car.

How to find 113 Pepys Road Bed & Breakfast (B&B).
From Elephant & Castle roundabout, take A2 (New Kent Road/Old Kent Road/New Cross Road) to junction with Queens Road. Turn right for Queens Road. After short distance, take first left into Erlanger Road and left again into Sherwin Road. Turn right into Pepys Road up the hill. No. 113 is opposite Telegraph Hill Park.
