The Cotswolds has something to offer visitors all year round and a perfect base from which to explore is Badger Farm near Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire. Surrounded by eight acres this converted Cotswold stone barn has been renovated into a family home.

Family antiques, comfortable furnishings and photos add to the relaxed ambience throughout the house. There are two guest rooms, one in the main house, and the other in the self contained ‘Granary’. Both bedrooms are bright and spacious with an array of books, DVDs and magazines to enjoy as well as simply beautiful and uninterrupted views across the Cotswold countryside. Guests staying in the Granary have their own sitting room, kitchen and a small, sunny and very private garden.

Breakfast is served in the Granary or the main house, beautifully presented with good local produce.

Susannah is warm and welcoming and has the knack of helping her guests to relax the moment they arrive. Married to Andrew, a company director, they both enjoy golf, travelling and the theatre.

The Location

Badger Farm is approximately 5 miles from Chipping Norton a historic market town with well established shops and restaurants. Oxford is about 30 minutes away with its museums, renowned colleges and excellent shopping. For theatre goers Stratford is again a 30 minute drive. All in all there is plenty for all tastes all year round.
