This beautiful house is an absolute must for anyone interested in rowing, racing and eating! World famous regattas at Henley and Marlow, horse racing at Royal Ascot and Michelin starred restaurants at Bray - all this in addition to the wonderful welcome you will receive from Derek and Heather when you arrive at their delightful home.

This is a most attractive Victorian vicarage on the banks of the River Thames with stunning views of the river and water meadows opposite. The house is beautifully decorated in pale, restful colours and furnished with a mixture of fine traditional, contemporary and antique furniture which perfectly complements carefully retained original features. In the summer meals can be taken on the terrace overlooking the river or in the cosy dining room overlooking the organic kitchen garden, tended by Derek, which provides most of the ingredients for the delicious meals created by Heather.

The Old Vicarage really is a delight - incomparable views from the tastefully decorated and furnished bedroom with its en suite bathroom, the most delightful hosts and the perfect location for London, Oxford and Heathrow - definitely a Wolsey Lodge not to be missed!

Your Bed & Breakfast Hosts

Derek and Heather are both lawyers by profession. They are well travelled, convivial couple who enjoy entertaining and welcoming guests to the home they share with their two daughters. Derek enjoys playing golf and they both enjoy opera, ballet and theatre.

The Location

This is the ideal location for visiting London or Oxford. It is also a convenient stopover for those flying to or from Heathrow. Henley, Marlow and Windsor are nearby as are Wentworth Golf Course and racing at Royal Ascot and there are wonderful walks along the Thames Footpath for the energetic.

How to find The Old Vicarage Bed & Breakfast (B&B).

From J4 on M40 take A404 towards Marlow/Maidenhead. At Bisham roundabout take 3rd exit to Bisham Village. Through village, past Bull Inn turn left down Church Lane. At end of lane, The Old Vicarage drive is on left opposite village school. From M4 take J8/9 and proceed on A404(M) towards Maidenhead West and High Wycombe. Continue for 7 miles to Bisham Roundabout, take 1st exit then proceed as above.
