A wonderful welcome awaits in this beautiful Grade II listed, large thatched Northamptonshire stone cottage, with converted barn, conservatory and secluded garden.

There's something special at every turn. Winter evenings are spent in front of a roaring open log fire in the stunning drawing room. For summer serenity, enjoy the cottage sitting room with its Bechstein piano, or wander into the conservatory to sit and read, away from it all.

Bedrooms in both the main house and cottage are uniquely and individually decorated - a Jacobean trunk in the single, Gothic headboards in the twin - a beautiful bureau in the bathroom. Beds are hugely comfortable and bathrooms include both bath and shower.

The beautiful garden creates surprises in formal and informally designed ‘rooms', with harmony and colour contrasts in the inspired planting. Sit on the terrace and watch koi carp swimming in the pond - or relax, listening to the waterfall.

Liz is a warm and gregarious hostess and attended the Cordon Bleu. Her superb meals are legendary with a dinner party atmosphere, mixing great food, company and conversation. By prior arrangement, friends or clients may also be invited.

The Location

The picturesque conservation village of Staverton has magnificent views over open country. It lies on the Jurassic Way and The Three River circular walk passes through the parish. Warwick Castle, Althorp, Woburn and Stratford, are all within easy reach. Colledges House is within 10 - 20 minutes of the M1, M6 and M40, so is ideally located for holiday and weekend breaks, for business or travelling, north or south.

How to find Colledges House Bed & Breakfast (B&B).

Take the A425. From Daventry, turn right 100 yards after Staverton Park Conference Centre and Golf Course into the village, then first right, keep left, at give way sign turn sharp left and Colledges House is immediately on the right. From Leamington, turn left at The Countryman pub, keep right at the Green keep straight on into Oakham Lane and Colledges House is the last house on the left.
