Four years hard work has brought about the transformation of a run-down cluster of farm buildings into a sumptuous, contemporary home for Sally and Nick Whale. The outstanding position and stunning views, overlooking the former stately home of Walton Hall, make this property truly unique.

Set amidst seven acres of pasture and woodland, the guest rooms are located in what was the original farm cottage which leads through to the main house in a beautifully converted barn – one utterly gorgeous home, but offering guests a degree of privacy should they desire it. The spacious, airy bedrooms are very comfortably furnished with two offering en suite shower rooms and one an en suite bathroom. In the cottage there is the added benefit of a small dining area equipped for guests to prepare simple cold food or enjoy a continental breakfast; alternatively guests can also enjoy breakfast in the main family room.

Outside, undulating fields and bridleways are the perfect backdrop to the landscaped gardens that extend around the house, whilst in the inner courtyard there is an outdoor heated pool and hot tub to enjoy.

Sally and Nick are passionate about motor cars – Porsche and Ferrari in particular – and of course the beautiful home they have created. Nick competed at various levels of motorsport for over 30 years, including historic rallying with Sally as his navigator. Having lived here for several years they know the best places to visit and dine locally.

The Location

Walton Wood is set in a most beautiful part of Warwickshire where there is much to see and do. Stratford Upon Avon with its Shakespearean delights, Warwick Castle and Leamington Spa are all close by. National Trust properties are all around, including Hidcote Manor Gardens, whilst for racing enthusiasts there are racecourses aplenty and the picturesque towns of the Cotswolds are only a short drive.

From M40, J15 take A429 to Cirencester. Continue past Barford for 4 miles. First exit at next roundabout onto Charlecote Road (B4087) signed Wellesbourne. Continue for 2 miles through village. At Bowshot roundabout take 3rd exit on to Fosse Way (B4455) signed Cirencester. After ¾ mile you will see sign for 'Combrook', indicate right immediately and drive for Walton Wood Farm is 50 yds on right.
