Overlooking 'Happy Valley' – what delights this conjures up – Willowside is a large quintessential Cotswold stone house in the lovely village of Withington, near the classic spa town of Cheltenham and market town of Cirencester with its Roman history. Recently renovated, this 17th century home is very comfortable with oak floors, antique furniture and beautiful furnishings that create a warm ambience reflecting the welcoming hosts, Jane and David Bruce.
The spacious well appointed bedrooms offer a relaxing retreat at the end of a busy day either exploring this beautiful area, or attending business meetings. Guests will enjoy the rolling Cotswold and village views. Each room is equipped with television, DVD, internet access and printing facilities. Breakfast and dinner, if requested, is prepared by Jane an accomplished cook, and served in either the formal dining room or the relaxed atmosphere of the large family kitchen.
Step outside on to the terrace and enjoy landscaped gardens overlooking ‘Happy Valley’ and the farm. Consider taking a short walk through the meadows, over the River Colne and on to the St. Michael's Church, school and Mill Inn.

Jane has run Willowside House & Farm as a B&B for many years. David is a retired company director. Together they have overseen the considerable renovation of the house to turn it into a comfortable retreat for visitors to the Cotswolds.
The Location
The spa town of Cheltenham, famous for its racing, music, literary, jazz and science festivals is a short drive away. Perhaps spend a day at historic Stratford-up-Avon or simply meander through the Cotswolds visiting Stow-on-the-Wold, Chipping Campden, Broadway and other pretty villages. Business visitors enjoy easy access to Gloucester, Oxford, Swindon, Bristol, M4 and M5. For garden lovers, Chedworth Roman Villa, Barnsley, Kiftsgate and Hidcote, plus Westonbirt and Batsford arboreta are within easy reach.

Withington Village can be approached from Oxford (A40) - 40 miles; Cheltenham (A436) - 9 miles; Cirencester (A429) - 8 miles. The house is on a corner near the end of the village on the way to Compton Abdale, behind large wrought iron gates.
