Home Farm
Lodge No 38A
Mellow Cotswold stone, glorious gardens and the warmest of welcomes – the scene is set for an unforgettable experience. Robin and Sylvie are justifiably proud of their beautiful home which is part of the estate owned by Robin's family for the past three hundred years.
Sylvie’s interior design background is evident in the inspired use of colour and family antiques, with large comfortable sofas in the sitting room to the more formal but elegant drawing room and dining room. The bedrooms (one with a spectacular four poster bed) and bathrooms are spacious and extremely comfortable and boast televisions, tea trays and luxurious selections of soaps, shampoos and lotions for pampering after a days sightseeing.
Sylvie is a superb cook and welcomes guests with tea and home made cakes on arrival, which can be followed by a delicious supper or dinner (often using wonderful smoked food from the Upton Smokery on the estate and which is run by Robin’s son).
Your Bed & Breakfast Hosts
Robin and Sylvie are a charming, easy going couple. Robin is a retired businessman and has many interesting stories about the history of the estate, whilst Sylvie, who is French, has a background in interior design, and they both have a love of the countryside and outdoor pursuits.
