Situated in a tiny hamlet of just four houses and surrounded by fields. Bullocks Horn Cottage is a delightful 200 year old house offering a peaceful and tranquil haven on the fringe of the Cotswolds.

On arrival you are greeted by Liz and Colin with tea and delicious cakes to help you unwind after your journey. The cottage is spacious and beautifully decorated and furnished with fine antique furniture. The bedrooms have en suite or private bathrooms and simple decor which highlights the glorious views from the windows of the gardens and fields beyond.

Both breakfast and dinner are served in the conservatory or in the cool shade of the garden. Vegetables and herbs are used from the kitchen garden together with locally sourced produce. The garden is spectacular - Liz has created a stunning cottage garden with a collection of special and unusual plants with paths meandering around the garden and seating areas that entice you to sit awhile and take pleasure in your surroundings.

Your Bed & Breakfast Hosts

Liz and Colin are a very friendly, interesting couple who thoroughly enjoy entertaining guests in their home. Liz is a Cordon Bleu cook and loves gardening and interiors, whilst Colin is a talented artist with a studio in the garden and samples of his work can be seen around the house. When he is not painting he is a keen golfer and fisherman.

The Location

Only a few miles from the historic town of Malmesbury, Bullocks Horn Cottage in the ideal base for visiting some of the most beautiful houses and gardens in England. Malmesbury Abbey, Abbey House Gardens, Westonbirt Arboretum and Berkeley Castle are all within easy reach.
