The Grove
Lodge No 78
A classic Georgian house surrounded by mature trees in a delightful, flower filled garden with six terraces, this tranquil refuge is a haven for animal and birdlife and is located only minutes from Bath's bustling and historic city centre. The accommodation has recently been lovingly restored and modernised with the emphasis on spaciousness, comfort and luxury and it reflects its owner's artistic background containing his collection of books, paintings and figurative sculptures as well as his main studio.
Surrounded by woods containing badgers and deer, the garden contains a wide variety of local and tropical flora and fauna as well as topiary. In the summer months breakfast can be taken out on the patio or the terrace where guests can often see hot air balloons passing overhead. There are a variety of walks nearby offering magnificent views over Bath and its surrounding countryside.
