Rectory Farm
Lodge No 67
Rectory Farm, a beautifully secluded, two hundred year old, creeper clad Cotswold country house revealed at the end of a tree lined avenue, is situated in its own 450 acre valley of scenic farmland.
Off the traditional flagstoned hall, there is a welcoming drawing room with deep plush sofas and tables laden with interesting books and magazines. In winter, roaring log fires fill the room with life while guests partake of afternoon tea or after dinner coffee. The elegant dining room features a 14 foot solid oak table seating up to 20 for dinner (which it often does at winter shooting parties).
Three impeccably furnished, comfortable, light and airy bedrooms have lovely views over the three acre garden which leads to two beautiful trout lakes (four and five acres) and woodland. Fishing and walked up game and rough shooting are available to guests.
Your Bed & Breakfast Hosts
Nigel, an arable and livestock farmer, Elizabeth and their 3 teenage children enjoy all aspects of country life. Having lived here all their lives, they possess good local knowledge and are only too happy to advise on the more unusual places to visit.
The Location
Halfway between Stratford-upon-Avon and Oxford, 22 miles from Cheltenham, 5 from Stow-on-the-Wold and 11 from Blenheim Palace, makes Rectory Farm an ideal centre for touring the Cotswolds. There is something for everybody, including a popular walk from the house to the Rollright Stones (a Bronze Age stone circle).

How to find Rectory Farm Bed & Breakfast (B&B).
Salford is one mile north-west of Chipping Norton off the A44. Rectory Farm is at the far end of the village. Go past the Black Horse pub, left at the telephone box (Cooks Lane), up the hill, past the children's play area on your right and then left into the farm drive. Continue for 200 yards through the avenue of trees, and turn left into the house and gardens.
