Manor Farm House
Lodge No 95
Tucked away in the heart of rural England, Manor Farm House, set in its lovely garden, is a joy to behold. The house is about 250 years old, built on to a 300 year old cottage.
The much loved house has a comfortable feel in which guests immediately feel at ease. Two reception rooms and a study with television are available for guests, who are impressed by a magnificent Burmese wall hanging in the drawing room, where tea is served on their arrival. The main room of the cottage has original beams and a 7 foot inglenook fireplace, now a ‘den' housing a library and collected treasures including an 8 foot Texan Longhorn, the longest ever recorded!
There are two lovely guest bedrooms; the double with en suite bathroom captures the morning sun and has a wonderful garden view. The twin, with original fireplace, is a few paces from the private bathroom. Dressing gowns are provided.
The beautifully laid out garden is at its best in spring when 500 or so daffodils leap into life. Pheasants and badgers seem to think that Manor Farm House is their home address and inquisitive cows peer over the garden wall.
Your Bed & Breakfast Hosts
