Beautiful house, stunning location, friendliest hostess and fabulous food combine to ensure you will want to return again and again. Crug-Glas is a tastefully restored Georgian house set in 600 acres of farmland with glorious views in every direction and beautiful gardens to relax in.

There is a wonderful blend of antique and modern furnishings throughout and the bedrooms and bathrooms are sumptuous with huge beds, crisp bed linen and soft bathrobes for guests to use. There is a recently renovated ‘honeymoon suite' on the top floor with beautiful bedroom, sitting room and bathroom with spa bath.

Janet is an amazing cook. She prepares her menus at 5pm each day according to what fresh meat, fish or vegetables have been delivered and guests make their choice by 5.30pm from a wonderful selection of 5 or 6 starters, 9 or 10 main courses and 5 puddings and Janet then produces the most wonderful dinners that would tempt the most jaded palate. Crug-Glas is fully licensed and there is an ‘honesty bar' in the sitting room so guests can relax over a drink after dinner.

Janet is the most friendly hostess with a ready smile and an instinct for knowing exactly how to spoil her guests. Whilst her husband is busy running the farm Janet is happy to entertain interested guests with the history of the farm which dates back to the 13th century.

The Location

St Davids Peninsula is a stunning area with walks along coastal paths and glorious beaches. The tiny St Davids Cathedral is not to be missed and there are Pembroke and Picton Castles to visit along with Skomer and Ramsey Islands for their wildlife and fascinating woollen mills at Tregwynt and Middle Mill.

Situated on the A487 St Davids to Fishguard approx 3½ miles outside of St Davids, pass through village of Carnhedryn, first left half a mile after the village.
