Dolgadfa
Lodge No 150
Simple, attractive and comfortable just about sums up the guest accommodation at this beautiful, 16th century, Welsh farmhouse. We say ‘just about' because the converted barn where guests will stay is also stylish and very welcoming, with its own sitting/dining room complete with log fire for those chilly evenings. There are three bedrooms furnished with either pine or iron bedsteads, two with en suite bathrooms and one with a private bathroom and all tastefully decorated.
The River Dee flows only 20 yards from the house and there are the most glorious views of rolling green countryside and the Berwyn Mountains which are guaranteed to lift the spirits of even the most jaded. This private estate offers its guests 2,500 acres of land of fabulous walking, literally from its doorstep. Fishing, cycling, riding, bird watching and, for the very brave, white water rafting and high ropes are also on the doorstep in this peaceful, tranquil area, but despite it's apparent remoteness there is a very good local pub a mile away and one of the best restaurants in Wales within 2 miles.
Your Bed & Breakfast Hosts

The Location
A perfect central location for discovering this fabulous area of North Wales, which abounds with history, beauty and adventure. Harlech, Chirk and Conwy castles are within easy reach, as is the peaceful seaside town of Aberdovey and the fascinating Port Merion, or if the fancy takes you visit Snowdon, Bala Lake, go white water rafting or travel on the mountain railway - whatever you choose, one visit will definitely not be enough!
