Coedllys Uchaf
Lodge No 144
An idyllic, rural scene greets you at this old farmhouse with duck and peafowl ambling across the courtyard and a riot of colourful annuals and evergreens cascading from tubs and hanging baskets. Nestled in eleven acres of rolling fields and woodlands, Coedllys Uchaf (Upper Woodland Court) offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
A sense of sanctuary prevails in every sense. Warm and welcoming reception rooms are beautifully and classically decorated. The sitting room and three guest rooms overlook the pretty one acre cottage garden. Jane Churchill and traditional Laura Ashley wallpapers, fabrics and soft furnishings enhance the relaxed, intimate and tranquil atmosphere. All rooms have heavenly antique beds, squishy sofas, 3 foot square showers, slippers, fruit, flowers and hand made chocolates, so guests are in no doubt that they are being completely and utterly spoilt!
Your Bed & Breakfast Hosts
Valerie and Keith offer nothing but the best for their guests, who return time and again to enjoy real Welsh hospitality. Keith, an ex Metropolitan police officer, has spent the last 13 years as a Protection Officer to the Royal Family and Valerie was also with the Royalty Protection Branch for 14 years. Valerie loves cooking and has a talent for making people feel at ease. The couple run an Animal Sanctuary with rescued donkeys, ponies, sheep, goats, chickens, peacock and ducks, all treated as pets. The guests love the animals and the animals love the guests!
