The Welsh motto ‘ Hardd, Hafen, Hedd' perfectly reflects the qualities of The Old Rectory. Situated in 2½ acres of terraced gardens, it enjoys spectacular, uninterrupted vistas of Snowdonia and Conwy estuary and castle, which has been designated a World Heritage Site.

This glorious view can be enjoyed from the elegant, large panelled sitting room and dining room, in which antiques and paintings abound. Three cosy first floor bedrooms with four posters and half testers, comfortable easy chairs, televisions and tea and coffee trays, share the magnificent views from the front of the house. All en suite, with power showers or baths, finishing touches in the bathrooms include luxurious toiletries, two bathrobes and fluffy bath and hand towels.

Culture and comaraderie come together beautifully. Michael is recognised for his outstanding Welsh hospitality, helpfulness with touring routes and his love of Welsh history and language. Wendy, an ex-nursing sister and recently retired World Master Chef will advise on where to dine locally from the good selection of quality AA rosetted restaurants and inns. Her award winning Welsh breakfasts are outstanding and have been recognised with the AA Breakfast Award.

The Location

The gardens at The Old Rectory have been described as a ‘Mini Bodnant' and the real thing is just 2 miles away. The village is close to Conwy, overlooking the RSPB bird sanctuary, 4 miles from the Victorian seaside spa town of Llandudno. The Roman road to the Aber waterfalls and a wealth of Celtic sites and castles are all within easy reach.
