The Orangery
Lodge No 129A
Overlooking the Vale of York, The Orangery sits amidst the 3000-acre Aske estate and is home to Mark and Sue Zetland. The Aske estate is stunningly beautiful whatever time of the year you visit and guests are more than welcome to explore all that it has to offer including the four-acre walled garden in which the house sits.
Inside the light and airy interior of this newly renovated 18th century home, antiques, paintings and ornaments sit alongside family pictures combining to create a warm and welcoming ambience. An informal dining room adjoins the kitchen and on the other side of the house the sitting room, which is available to guests.
There is a single bedroom located on the ground floor making this an ideal destination for less mobile guests, whilst on the first floor there is a twin and double room, all with new, luxurious en-suite facilities. Delicious, hearty breakfasts feature fare from the Aske estate and the many excellent pubs and restaurants in the area mean you will be able to enjoy all that this part of North Yorkshire has to offer.
