Beautifully decorated reception rooms, the drawing room and dining room being of particular architectural interest, have enchanting views over the countryside.

Delightful bedrooms beckon and whether you are ensconced in the double, with its large canopied bed or the twin with antique four foot mahogany beds, both with pristine bathrooms, you will experience true luxury.

Three and a half acres, open under the National Gardens Scheme, have been expertly designed by Caroline who has blended traditional country house form with accents of contemporary inspiration - creating stunning herbaceous borders, hot colour perennial borders, a pond and gravel garden not to mention the vegetable garden which supplies the kitchen. There is also a delightful summer house, swimming pool and croquet lawn.

Your Bed & Breakfast Hosts

Caroline, a professional garden designer and talented Cordon Bleu cook, had her own restaurant and is also a consultant for a restaurant chain specialising in city lunches. Her husband John, is a farmer and chartered surveyor. They both love other people's company and enjoy welcoming guests.

East Yorkshire is an unknown jewel in the Yorkshire crown. Beverley with its Minster, town houses and racing, the vibrant city of Hull, historic York, Castle Howard, Burton Agnes, and the Yorkshire coast and Wolds are all within easy driving distance.
