This important, listed, C17th Hall stands in verdant countryside, at the heart of a secluded historic estate. Eshott Hall combines classic grace and elegance in peace and serenity. Close to the house is a rare Victorian fernery, a beautifully restored and fully productive walled garden and graceful lawns surrounded by towering Sequoia and Cedars of Lebanon. Red squirrel, deer and thriving wildlife abound. Woodland walks lead to open countryside with views across the distant Cheviot Hills.

Inside, a magnificent stained glass window of the William Morris School, dominates the hallway where old family portraits meet contemporary pieces. Impressive architectural features, exquisite Italianate plasterwork and elegant furnishings blend to create a majestic yet relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. In each of the individually styled, spacious and exquisitely furnished bedrooms there are comfortable king size beds and en suites.

The Location

The recent success of Alnwick Gardens just over 10 minutes away, continues to act as a major attraction. A host of other spectacular castles adorn our Heritage Coastline such as Bamburgh, Dunstanburgh, Warkworth, Holy Island and the Farnes Island. Whilst inland, dramatic sights include Cragside, Wallington Hall and Hadrians Wall. About twenty minutes to the south, Newcastle's cultural revival centers on the Quayside, the Baltic, Sage Music Centre, Centre for Life and Biscuit Factory.

Turn east off A1 trunk road 6 miles north of Morpeth and 9 miles south of Alnwick at Eshott signpost. The unmarked Hall gates are approximately one mile down the country lane.
