Built as part of the Morrison’s Academy, Glenae is a spacious Victorian building that retains much of its original splendour. A short flight of stairs leads to a long, bright hallway from which all the rooms lead off. The main living and dining room features a large bay window with views over the treetops to the mountains beyond and it is with this backdrop that you will enjoy breakfast during your stay. Guests can choose from either a twin or double bedroom, both furnished most comfortably and thoughtfully, and enjoy the use of a private shower room.

Local hand-made chocolates and fresh fruit in your room add a touch of decadence to your stay. Behind Glenae is a tranquil garden that captures the sun and gives dappled shade – a real haven at the end of a day of exploring the many attractions and activities available.

Glenae is home to Karenina Johnson and ‘home’ is what she likes her guests to feel they are in when they visit her. An interior designer and columnist, Karenina is an accomplished artist with work on show throughout Scotland. When time allows, relaxation is sought in cooking, entertaining, reading and collecting antiques.

Just outside Perth, Crieff has much to offer visitors - avid golfers can enjoy Gleneagles as well as numerous other local course; horse-riding and cycling tracks criss cross the area and the Strathearn Valley is renowned for its challenging fishing.
