A very stylish Victorian house situated in a beautiful Victorian town sets the scene for a wonderful stay amongst the magnificent woods and mountains of the highlands. The glorious, well stocked gardens offer fine views of The Wild Woods of Anagagh and are a magnet for red squirrels, nesting swifts, bats and a wide variety of birds. All this before you enter the house itself, which is a delight and retains many of the fine, original features.

Furnished with a fine blend of antique and modern with some fabulous paintings, sculptures and porcelain, you will be welcomed like an old friend by Michael and Gwen, served tea in a comfortable sitting room and within minutes you will feel at home.

The spacious bedrooms and bathrooms are tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you could wish for. Michael is the most attentive host, ensuring guests are well looked after whilst Gwen is busy producing the most delicious breakfasts and dinners, all beautifully presented and prepared using the finest local ingredients.

Your Bed & Breakfast Hosts

Michael is a retired accountant and Gwen a retired teacher who both enjoy meeting new people and making sure their guests have an enjoyable stay. They are both very interested in the arts and wildlife.

The Location

This is a fabulous area with so much to do and see. Walking in the Cairngorm National Park or following the Whisky trail, watching osprey and capercaillie at the Boat of Garten Centre, visiting Ballindalloch Castle, Strathspey Steam Railway or the Grantown Museum among others.
