Cosses Country House
Lodge No 140
Set in twelve acres of woodland and garden, in a hidden valley, this little piece of heaven is the sort of place one loves to discover. Food is always high on the agenda at the beginning and end of your day's exploration of this beautiful area of South West Scotland.
Black labrador, Bonzo will escort you on a magical walk with views out to sea towards Ireland, Ailsa Craig, the Mull of Kintyre and Arran. Enjoy afternoon tea in a secluded garden, by Chailoch Burn, and drinks in front of a blazing log fire. The two spacious suites across the courtyard and the garden room within the main house are classically decorated and cleverly co-ordinated with every last detail in mind.
Your Bed & Breakfast Hosts
Robin and Susan love having people to stay and sharing their passion for superb food and wine. Home grown vegetables, fruit and herbs from the kitchen garden, locally reared meat, game, cheese and freshly caught seafood tempt the taste buds. Susan has written a book about the local food, local history and all that there is to see and do in South West Scotland. Robin is an accountant with a keen interest in sport, whilst Susan tends the garden and walks the dogs when not looking after guests. Their friends and guests describe them as ‘perfect hosts'.
