Your B&B Hosts
Your hosts here are Ed and Sara Hollway, and guests are united in their praise. Ed usually prepares the breakfasts, using ingredients from local farms and including extra touches, such as truffle oil on field mushrooms. A speciality is a Greenhouse smoothie - and it is actually green. Sara, it appears, does everything else, including serving tea and cake on arrival and even, whenever possible, shuttling guests to and from their town centre restaurants in the evenings.
Location
Greenhill House is set just above Lyme Regis. It's a few minutes drive to the Cobb and harbour, a journey that takes 15 minutes on foot (it takes 20 minutes back. There is a bus). Though Lyme Regis is a relatively small seaside town it has a wealth of character shops and far more good restaurants than it has any right to expect: just ask Ed and Sara for their personal recommendations. The town itself is at the heart of Dorset's Jurassic Coast, with miles of glorious beaches under crumbling, fossil-filled cliffs. The closest train station is at Axminster, from where there is a bus, though a taxi takes just 15 minutes.
